A commercial lot has to be clear before the first employee arrives, not sometime that morning. Our winter work runs overnight and early morning so that when your property opens, the drive aisles, entrances and accessible spaces are already usable.

That means routes are planned in advance and lots are prioritised by opening time — not cleared in whatever order the truck happens to reach them.

Where the snow goes matters

Plowing a lot is easy. Plowing a lot so that the snow does not end up blocking your accessible spaces, burying a fire route, melting across the drive aisle and refreezing overnight, or piling against a building takes planning.

We set stacking locations before the season starts, based on where meltwater will actually run and where the piles will not eat your parking count for the whole winter. In lots without room to stack, snow relocation is scoped as part of the contract.

Winter is hard on asphalt

Plow blades find every raised edge, every failed patch and every broken pavement edge — and rip them further open. Meltwater runs into cracks, refreezes overnight, and widens them.

Because we pave the rest of the year, we see the damage that winter is doing to your lot while we are clearing it, and we will tell you what needs attention in spring rather than leaving you to find the potholes in April.
